Design Title: "Uncle Theodore" from The Uncle collection
The collection consists of three delightfully unique carpets. They are exclusively available in a hand-tufted 100% New Zealand wool finish and limited edition with 10 pieces available per design.
Three Uncles, in neutral colours and earth tones, make up the collection. Uncle Theodore, Uncle Fred and Uncle Rich
With the Covid Pandemic limiting travel globally, Cecilia was naturally drawn to thoughts of her family, who, like so many, she was separated from. Whilst working on a bespoke creation for a client, she found herself experimenting with flowing lines. It was only when she took a step back from her art that there in front of her was her favourite uncle from her childhood – Uncle Theodore, and so the Uncle Collection was born.
With this subconscious creation now realised, it seemed appropriate to explore further. Cecilia took a nostalgic look back through her family history to bring Uncle Fred and Uncle Rich to life.
