Tour des Canadiens
GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 7th édition
A refined structure made of iron and glass, the Tour des Canadiens sales office sits as a pavilion on the Centennial Plaza’s public space. In the center of this structure, a “Canadian red” cube calls to gather with the Sainte Flanelle.
The prized piece of its furnishing is no doubt the module featuring on the miniature model of the Tour. Architectural point of interest, the suspended triangular wall that sits at the top of the sales space creates the impression of a protected area. It marks a transition towards the ideal unit, true challenge for the designers to create a 675 square foot apartment with two bedrooms. The central bloc amalgamating kitchen and bathroom as well as the integration of the furniture in the architecture itself is what allowed for this tour de force. A partition dividing the living room from the bedrooms acts as an audio wall and a concierge unit is integrated with the central bloc at the entrance.
Along with the care for detail and elegance of the project, HUMÀ design + architecture did not omit functionality, thus perfectly responding to the needs of the buyer. This esthetic place, with its discerning design and organizational rigor, has been praised by the jury under the Model apartments category.
