Our objective was to create a new home for clients downsizing from a much larger, more traditional home.
Their art collection, both paintings and sculptures were very carefully considered in the interiors. The many wonderful views were also considered, as well as the functional requirements of the clients.
Crisp white lines, mirrored surfaces, recesses, and dark ebonized oak against a more classic washed herringbone wood floor create an environment that is contemporary yet warm.
The public area allows for an open kitchen that can be closed if desired. The furnishings are very contemporary with carefully curated antiques minimally integrated. The private bedrooms and suites are softer, a lighter cerused wood mixed with light porcelain and carpets make a for a restful sanctuary.
We feel proud of this project. It is timeless, contemporary without being cold. A completely “bespoke” home.
