Textile artwork

GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 16th edition

Discipline : Art & Photography

Categories : Art Projects / Artwork - Commercial Space : Gold Certification

Categories : Art Projects / Artwork - Residential Space : Silver Certification

The designer MARIE DOOLEY is in the mood for TEXTILE WALL ART!

Iconic and vibrant, these pieces have literally been designed to pimp up your space. Various stitched graphic shapes constitute the common thread of this sampling which is available in several designs. Prioritizing the abstract, these artworks inspired from the modern art style exploit the minimalist trend sometimes in black and white, sometimes in an explosion of colors.

Available in different sizes, MARIE DOOLEY’s artworks dress your walls with texture and bring a warm touch specific to textiles. Whether for the home or for public and commercial spaces, these textiles add an aura of optimism and dynamism and instantly transform an interior in search of originality. All this without taking into account that a fabric canvas has acoustic properties that considerably reduce the propagation of sound. A version with superior acoustic properties is now offered due to the addition of acoustic wool.

By inviting herself on your walls, MARIE DOOLEY once again reiterates her creative flair. It must be said that this leading artist has always had an eye and a talent for beautiful things. Always at the head of her eponymous brand, MARIE was first a fashion designer. For 25 years, she sublimated in a thousand remarkable ways the Quebecers who entered her boutique. For 7 years now, this fabric lover has devoted herself to textile products for the home and distributes them across the country. Today, she adds to her range of products and it is abstract art that becomes her playground. Tirelessly guided by her passion for textiles, she uses it this time by imagining paintings as playful as they are timeless.
