In recent years and especially following the lock down period, our way of working has changed a lot and with it the place where we do our work and in general the environments in which we live, prompting us to rethink the organization of these functions and spaces.
The need to have a workstation available inside one's own homes or vice versa to have a kitchen available inside the workplace was our inspiration for the creation of a flexible and transformable home/office workstation, able to combine several functions in the same element.
Table kitchen is a transformable and totally integrable piece of furniture, designed for dynamic and multifunctional environments, a link between home and office without altering the spaces but, on the contrary, giving them new life and breath.
Table kitchen is equipped with a sliding top on a track, which can be moved with a simple gesture to reveal the elements of the kitchen (induction hob and sink with concealed mixer tap) and at the same time act as a snack for having a meal.
The structure is designed as a suspended element, anchored to the wall to be used for draining the sink and with a second customizable support, in this case a laminated glass was chosen, ground to a rough edge with lighting on the cut.
The structural shell was made entirely of 25 mm thick plywood, entirely covered with the surface finish in
solid surfaces, Corian®.Collaboration
