Stûv 30-compact H : A Bold Improvement on the Wood-Burning Stove

Stûv fanned the flames of change on the wood-burning stove market with the unveiling of its Stûv 30-compact H. Since then, this slow-burning appliance with heat accumulator has become a must-have. What makes it so popular? Its slender, modern, streamlined design with many innovative functions. Still today, this timeless and revolutionary stove is acclaimed for providing the perfect balance of enjoyment and performance.

The Privilege of Choosing 

Stûv’s desire to combine as many advantages as possible in one wood-burning appliance inspired it to rethink the shape of the traditional fireplace. The Stûv 30-compact H’s elongated cylindrical shape, with its built-in swivel system, makes it possible to change modes of use according to need and desire. It is still the only wood stove on the market with three doors, for three uses:

  • The loading door, which makes it quick and easy to add wood or have an occasional BBQ. 
  • The glass door, to watch the play of flames while warming the room.
  • The solid door, to spread comforting warmth in complete safety while the fire is unattended.

Optimal Performance

The refractory bricks placed around the chimney pipe form a heat accumulating core that extends the heating time. Heat continues to be released into the house for many hours after the fire has gone out.

Reinventing the Hearth

With its tall, slender shape and the small amount of space it takes, the Stûv 30-compact H suits any room, no matter its size. It will be in perfect harmony in a corner, along a wall or even in the middle of the room.

This wood-heating appliance swivels 360 degrees, providing a view of the fire from any angle. Contemplate the flames while sipping pre-dinner drinks in the living room, then turn the appliance toward the dining room to enjoy the fire while eating.

The Stûv 30–compact H experience can be enhanced with practical and user-friendly accessories, such as a floor plate, firescreen, log trolley and BBQ cooking grate and tray kit.
