What makes this project unique is above all its history. The mansion was built in the early 20th century by Lorne McGibbon, a wealthy Montreal businessman who made his fortune in the rubber industry. He was perceived in the eyes of people as the "Gatsby of the Laurentians". It is said that he organized big parties at the manor and that he invited “the whole town”. He loved flowers and at the time he owned a greenhouse. The mansion and its gardens took 5 years to build by more than 200 workers. The promoters who acquired the property in 2015 wanted to restore the letters of nobility to this magnificent property. In 2017, our company had the opportunity to transform the gardens. The objective of the project promoter was that the gardens could be configured in a certain way in order to organize events such as business cocktails, weddings or other parties. For the development of the concept of the Italian garden and the bowling alley, we had taken into account the objectives of the promoters of this fabulous hotel project and we looked above all at the history of the manor, given that it is part of the forgotten gardens. of Quebec. Several journalists, bloggers, magazines and “wedding planner” published articles on this garden which had just been reborn. In just 1 year, more than 10 weddings, 30 business events and 2,500 people have passed through the doors of this mansion. The photos of the gardens are published on several sites to promote them. The marketing firm was inspired by the shapes of the Italian garden to create the hotel's official logo. The promotion of the establishment has only progressed since the transformation of the gardens.
