GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 12th edition
lg2 got it right when they created this concept, paying tribute to Gary Carter, famous catcher for the Montreal Expos. For the reconstruction of the athlete’s former club, lg2 imagined a colourful, graphically rich pathway portraying the athlete, designed to elicit an emotional response in visitors. A unique typography was specifically designed for the project, to match the Olympic Park’s graphic platform. The jury fell in love with this project, finding it to be highly original, and an effective response to what was needed : “As soon as you enter, you’re immediately immersed in the character.”
