SÉKOYA, a fresh restaurant at the heart of a project named Central Parc

This gourmet restaurant with local flavors offers us a new art of dining in an inviting place where one feels welcomed like home.

From the entrance; the meeting of the kitchen, the bar and the open kitchen offers a dynamic atmosphere, far from the conventions dictated by a cold and formal reception post. The rounded shapes of the custom furniture offers a fluid path to the different areas of this restaurant-boutique.

Referring to the voluminous tree, the coloring is mainly composed of a brown wood rich in tannins, a « star » floor reminiscent of the green nature and a dark patina dresses all the walls to create a contrast with the vast windows of the premises.

The Vietnamese-born owner’s warm generosity had to be reflected in the atmosphere inside his restaurant. The dining room layout is curved by the long benches to make the space communicative. A large rounded drop down into the dining room that falls like a waterfall to transform into a library. This element created from wooden boxes crossed by brass-colored tubulars recalls tatami (or screens)in a sophisticated version. In addition, the lighting concealed by this same fallout creates effects of light and shadow in the dining room, a nod to the luminous atmosphere felt during a walk in the forest in the shade of a redwood.

A store of Quebec objects envelops a large table whether for a group or for collaborative work. The display, composed of wood, metal and mirror, evokes a large china cabinet in a cozy home. The angled shelves of the majestic pantry echo the shape of the logo as well as the thorny foliage of the redwood tree; our primary source of inspiration.

Nothing is left to chance in this boutique restaurant to give customers a tasty taste of home.
