THE COURTYARD AS A GATHERING PLACE
The landscaping project for the Sillery residence responds to the client's strong desire to organize friendly gatherings in his residential courtyard. In this project, the landscape architect created a strong identity through the use of Ipe wood known for its very attractive appearance, its softness and its durability.
A LANDSCAPE PROJECT THAT PROMOTES CREATIVITY AND DETAIL
The central pool is the hub of the project. Around it, a SPA and two fireplaces enhance the space, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Water jets are installed around the pool so that one can fully enjoy it. There are also waterfalls, one of which is attached to the spa and the other central one pours into the deep part of the pool. Two columns coated with silica stone are implanted in the background of the central waterfall; they act as a support for two "Napoleon" flames that allow to light up the space at all times. There is also a pavilion designed by the landscape architect with a television, a popcorn machine and a bar. Further on, on the adjoining terrace with a vegetable garden, the visual continuity towards the pool is ensured by glass panels that act as railings, thus testifying to his attention to detail.
