Design inspiration: Since its creation, La Cinéscénie has become the most important night show in the world (14 000 pieces). This production is at the origin of the creation of the Puy du Fou theme park and has a 42-year history since its birth. Moreover, this large-scale show is also an artistic expression of the belief in cultural transmission and education of patriotic values.
At the end of each night show, the blue, white and red national flags appear amidst the fireworks and waterfalls, bringing the emotion of the French spectators present at the site to a climax. The blue, white and red representing the French flag are displayed at the end of the show, pointing towards the corresponding idea of liberté, égalité et fraternité. We took into account the culmination of the Cinescénie’s impact on the hearts of the French to make it a central element of our design concept. Finally, in terms of the spatial organization of the entire project, we divided the plan into three sections and defined the line of movement and functional zoning using blue, white and red as the main stylistic elements.
Design Highlights: In terms of color use, we opted for strict control over the gradation and textures used for each space. This approach allows the color applied to the glass partition frames to work in concert with the proportion of color originally used in each space. In terms of materials, we opted for the most common materials, rather than those that are expensive or normally have a significant impact in terms of decoration. We focus more on the efficiency of the office spaces through the pleasant comfort created by a judicious work on the spatial configuration.
We take advantage of the right architectural proportions of the whole office space and its interaction with the users, taking into account the unavoidable functional requirements. Therefore, we have tried to create an office scenario that integrates aspects of user-friendliness, pleasantness, respect for the environment, effectiveness and efficiency, among others. Like the noble spirit of Puy du Fou, which lies in the vigor of style rather than in the subtle play of appearances, this way of doing things is part of our spiritual philosophy.
