Naturart was fortunate enough to complete its largest project to date in the bucolic setting of Brome Lake in the Eastern Townships.
Our team had several elements to consider when designing the layout of this gorgeous home in order to unify the different zones and living areas with the challenge of the slightly steep terrain. It was important to create a practical space that would blend cohesively with the existing landscape while also being visually impressive from all angles.
The retaining walls, multiple steps, and an impressive quantity of pavers are at the heart of this symmetrical and sleek design. The three distinct landings presented a challenge in the realization of this design as the accuracy of levels and measurements left no room for error. The main attraction of this property is certainly the infinity pool which is highlighted from every angle. Attached to it is a superb terrace where thyme, judiciously used as ground cover, unites the tiles like a French garden. In this area, a gas fireplace is set up to relax in comfort while admiring the starry sky. The owners being golf lovers – a tee-off, a pétanque court and another fireplace area, this time with wood, were also integrated into the overall space. Although placed a short distance from the central living area since this section was intended to be more recreational for the owners and their guests, the continuation of cohesiveness remains.
Finally, nothing has been forgotten since when evening comes, a lighting system illuminates this dream courtyard in order to maximize the time spent in this outdoor living space proudly realized by Naturart, creator of outdoor masterpieces!
