Therrien Couture Joli-Coeur Brossard

Professional services firm Therrien Couture Joli-Coeur commissioned Cimaise to help them deploy their business strategy and vision throughout Quebec. To do so, we had to develop a design concept that could be adapted and customized in order to completely redesign the existing offices, redefining their image and developing business spaces that were both unique and in line with a visual language reflecting the company’s values and energy.

The program presented the company’s strategy and vision for the future.

The program featured various spaces, such as a law library, common area, flexible work zone, multifunctional room, meeting space of various sizes, modular space with retractable wall according to event needs and state-of-the-art IT spaces.

In keeping with the mission of Groupe TCJ, which boasts a “multidisciplinary, committed and accessible team that supports its clients and business partners in achieving their objectives by adopting a collaborative, innovative and value-creating consulting approach”, the new premises had to reflect collaboration, commitment, boldness, accessibility, openness and relevance.

The overall design concept had to be applied and reinvented both according to the different premises and various surfaces of the business places, according to a personalized colorimetry, while respecting the basic materiality. It therefore became essential to take the pulse of each principal associate of the places d’affaires in order to reflect a place in their image, with a view to maximizing the sense of belonging.

.

It should also be noted that, in addition to the layout of the premises, it was essential to ensure flawless soundproofing, given the high level of confidentiality required for the exercise of the profession’s functions (lawyers, notaries, corporate finance, trademarks and human resources consulting services), especially in terms of the multiple glass walls.

If the integration of the curve was initially presented as a way of breaking the angles and rigidity of the diamond plan of the first place of business to be fitted out, it ultimately imposed itself as the approach to adopt in order to break traditional layout patterns and thus offer a fluid and dynamic environment that encourages exchanges, movement and puts forward the humanity of the company.

The clever play of volume developed between roundness and rigor brings harmony and balance to the entire layout. Acoustic panels add rhythm to the spaces, alcoves offer enveloping work zones, and curved banquettes meander through the space. Fluid, organic lines encourage interaction and promote circulation and appropriation right from the premises, with open collaborative spaces taking on their full meaning.

.

The result is a luminous approach and modern, luxurious and airy layouts synonymous with openness, refinement and collaboration, offering its occupants warm workspaces with relaxed comfort.

As a result, Groupe Therrien Joli-Cœur’s new place of business in Brossard accommodates 67 workstations spread over 17,000 sq. ft. Located at 2000, rue de l’Éclipse, in the new Solar Uniquartier in Brossard, the space features tones of green, warm woodwork and black framed by golden accents, like a happy meeting between the urban and the lush natural setting offered by the city of Brossard.

Bringing modernity and warmth together with a healthy dose of humanity to a professional setting that can sometimes be perceived as austere is therefore a gamble we’ve won!
