GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 17th edition

Discipline : Student

Categories : Students work / Student - Industrial Design / Product / Furniture : Gold Certification

For several years now, the work environment has continuously evolved. Indeed, with the onset of Covid-19, more and more office workers have embraced the concept of remote work, leading to several companies relocating to smaller office spaces. In this context, Pavi was designed to encourage workers to return to the office and, more specifically, to motivate them to conduct their video conferences at their workplace.

Pavi, as its name suggests, is a modular furniture system reflecting the concept of a pavilion, offering a small secluded space where people can meet and discuss peacefully, in complete privacy. Along these lines, Pavi is a gathering place where users can feel entirely comfortable.

Moreover, Pavi is divided into three sections: the meeting area, the lounge area, and the counter area. These sections are separated in a way that ensures efficiency and practicality. The objective of bringing together different discussion spaces aims to reduce the footprint, in order to meet the needs of businesses in a context of office space reduction, while providing optimal comfort to users.
