A Hedhofis branch, all in color!
Hedhofis is a network of coworking spaces offering flexible solutions and stimulating environments to a community of entrepreneurs and professionals, who can rent workspace according to their needs, encouraging them to come out of isolation to work in a social and collaborative setting.
The mandate was to fit out a Hedhofis branch in a 7297 sq. ft. space in the new BST2 office tower in St-Thérèse, offering a variety of closed and open workstations, whether for team or solo work, in focus or idea-exchange mode, and all this on a limited budget for the size of the space. The space represented a large, generously fenestrated playground with ceiling and wooden structure, in which the aim would be to foster well-being at work and create a sense of belonging.
The designers sought to create an environment that was both playful and organic, encouraging harmonious cohabitation between the various users. In this spirit of collaboration, the use of the circle, a symbol of unity, balance and harmony, is omnipresent in the project, both in terms of the furniture and the treatment of the ceiling and walls. Colors, curves, textures and graphic treatments have all been designed to delimit zones, highlight the brand’s identity and create a light, airy and soothing environment. Touches of vegetation punctuate the space for the general well-being of users.
The acoustic comfort criteria was a challenge for such a large, mostly open-plan space. Both decorative and functional elements, mostly felt, lighting, carpets and fabrics, were selected for sound absorption and visual appeal. The art of combining the useful with the pleasurable at a small cost!
