GPD/APDC – 13th edition

The project is located in Tianjin, near the sea. The building’s design was inspired by the greatness of the water. Indeed, the building could be called A Ship for Modern Times.
It does look like a large boat sailing on the ocean, and with its LED light strips reflected by the water, a perfect mirror image is formed, adding a dreamlike beauty to the building.
The interior space has a simplified and modern profile, with lines that recreate the atmosphere of cabins; the soft, cloud-filled ceiling gives the feeling that you are under a clear sky while the transparent glass allows natural light to penetrate.
This contemporary approach of integrating architecture, landscape and interior design has produced an exceptional Noah’s Ark for modern times.
