GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 7th édition

Winner of the Objects and Accessories Award in the Product Design category, NanukNano is a case with a gripe handle offered in three sizes and five colors. Designed to carry small personal belongings in extreme outdoor conditions, it is intended for adventurous customers. It was conceived by Meteore Design at the request of Plasticase: a local company that manufactures and creates plastic cases by injection process for over twenty years, and has developed a culture for design. NanukNano is watertight and impact-resistant.

The jury believes Meteore Design is right on target with a product that fully meets a market demand, aimed primarily at extreme sports enthusiasts. Furthermore the exoskeleton is perfectly suited to its user; its elastomer molding ensures a protection on both the inside and outside and acts a shock absorber. The multipurpose strap makes it easy to carry and can be adjusted to wear around the wrist. Exceeding the needs of the most demanding users, designed and manufactured to exacting standards — impact resistant polycarbonate, PowerClaw latching system, and auto pressure equalizer valve, — the NanukNano is virtually indestructible.
