Mr. Noman Private Villa

By : MEMAR architecture

GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 17th edition

Discipline : Architecture

Categories : Other categories in architecture / Concept & Unbuilt : Bronze Certification

MEMAR Architecture offers a private villa in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, with an area of 2522 square meters. This project stands as a striking example of modern architecture, seamlessly combining glass and stone elements to create a captivating aesthetic structure that exudes sophistication and elegance. Designed in tropical style, the villa establishes a deep connection with nature and features a premium live pool-style pool surrounded by sand, enhancing the natural ambiance. Limestone, the base material, gives durability and is complemented by glass elements that flood the space with natural light.

The villa features a main entrance and a separate guest entrance, with the front prioritizing privacy with solid walls while the back opens to stunning landscapes. Bedrooms feature slatted windows, providing a view of the outdoors. Internally, limestone, glass, and dark gray metal louvers define the interior design. The ground floor offers a formal seating area that seamlessly connects to the outdoors through see-through pivot doors, while the upper floors offer panoramic views through see-through windows. An elegant stone slab with a water feature adorns the entrance to the car park.

The ground floor has been carefully designed with an open concept, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, with expansive windows and glass doors leading to outdoor patios. These versatile spaces are ideal places for social gatherings, allowing residents and guests to enjoy fresh air and stunning views.

The villa is characterized by its ability to maintain privacy while providing stunning views, and the rear of the villa has been carefully designed to showcase the panoramic landscape. The integration of tranquil lagoon-like water features adds a calm and tranquil atmosphere to the surroundings, enhancing the tropical ambiance and deepening the connection with nature.

The architectural villa project aims to provide a tranquil living environment for its residents while prioritizing their animal companions’ well-being. Ample greenery and lush vegetation are integrated, providing ample space to roam, explore, and interact with the environment. These natural elements provide physical enrichment and also stimulate mental activity and sensory experiences, contributing to overall health. A live pool surrounded by sand is a recreational feature and a natural haven to relax, play, and find food.

Specially designed features such as accessible outdoor spaces, protected relaxation areas, and dedicated play areas meet diverse requirements, promoting physical vitality and mental health. This holistic approach, which recognizes the well-being of both humans and animals, demonstrates a thoughtful and compassionate approach to design, promoting a harmonious living environment that embraces the beauty of nature and enhances the quality of life for all residents.
