Standing at 58 and 61 stories over Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles, North America’s greatest concentration of museums, theatres and galleries, the towers of Maestria Condominiums offer its inhabitants one of the city’s grandest front-row seats to a perennial parade of culture. With 1,700 residential units spread across its two towers, not only will the height of its paired structures be visible from vantage points throughout the city, but so will its skybridge. The suspended aerial passageway of glass unites both buildings at the 26th floor, a feat of architecture and engineering that’s among the highest of its kind in Quebec to date.
The skybridge that connects the two towers binds them into a single, complex and densified living environment. Made up of private and public areas on an elevated scale, Maestria’s lavish qualities are juxtaposed by lush green terraces, a sizeable commercial component, and facilities for leisure, recreation, and sports—an interconnected mix of uses for a wide range of preferences and paces of life.
Dark exterior curtain walls, windows and panels, as well as interior architecture of elegant black and white tones and noble materials come together to both luxuriantly amplify and provide an escape from Montreal’s pulse. Maestria’s towers allow its users to step away from the festivities without breaking tempo, whether from its base of reflective glass and granite where the private and public intermingle or skyward getaways to higher, windswept perspectives.
With a silhouette and colour scheme evoking two black piano keys, the towers’ elevated onlookers on its skybridge resemble notes on sheet music, mingling as they enjoy all the activities unfolding below them.
