The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a cosmopolitan country in the heart of Europe, known for its European institutions, its UNESCO World Heritage monuments and the numerous museums and squares.
The client (LFT (Luxembourg for Tourism), part of "Visit Luxembourg") wanted to show a NEW PERSPECTIVE on how travellers can connect with the country and its people, and get to know the small country’s fascinating contrasts upfront.
'Luci – Inspiring Travel Stories from Luxembourg' is a 116p coffee-table publication that connects places and people, thoughts and emotions.
The timeless design, supported by a selection of classic typography, exploits the narrative potential of photography – always remaining authentic, composing content throughout the pages that conveyed completely unexpected impressions – leaving readers stunned when they discover the “real Luxembourg experience”.
If the title, Luci, evokes the founding name of Luxembourg, Lucilinburhuc, the magazine and its design showcases a cosmopolitan country in the heart of Europe, open to the world, warm and diverse. A whole new way to get to know the “real Luxembourg experience”.
Luci has received amazing feedback from its target group, the “Explorers”, it lets them discover what this country and its people really are.
