SYD Bespoke Interiors worked along with Architem Architects Montreal to create this lakefront retreat for a young active family with additional space for many guests. The main central room offers splendid views of Lac Brome. The casual lakes house feeling is created with painted shiplap walls and light wide plank wood floors. Black windows architraves help to frame the views and add a sharp contemporary feeling. The kitchen has a modern almost Scandinavian inspiration.
We carefully combined large scale contemporary soft furnishings and mid-century furniture references with more simple country antiques to create a relayed eclectic environment. Wallcoverings and art, also a reference native arts and crafts. I feel we have achieved a beautifully designed environment that is also a bit playful and welcoming to the family and their friends.
