Dating back to the late 1880s, this structure has been lovingly restored and now houses upscale condominiums. Like the magnificent original stone that covers the exterior walls, the noble materials selected for the building’s renovation speak to the refinement of its new occupants. That same elegance and attention to detail are apparent in our design for this condo.
Boldly textured materials in dark colours add lots of character to the kitchen, the condo’s central hub. Providing a welcome contrast, large mirrored and light-oak panels hide the generous storage cabinets lining the main hallway from sight. Metal, smoked glass and wallpaper accents tie the elements together and create a sense of harmony.
This is a meticulously appointed home where nothing has been left to chance, and some of the more decorative elements have even been custom-made. Examples include the light fixture in the master bedroom, created by stacking several linen-textured lamp shades, and the column in the dining room, designed especially to display a work of art already in the client’s collection.
