The main room of the house is undoubtedly the kitchen! Majestic with its two large islands, it was
designed especially for the client. With her tall figure, she dreamed of having an ergonomic
environment. Each element has been thought out to ensure the room was adapted to the reality of
this mother who loves to cook. The dark cabinet colours bring a lot of character while the light
marble look of the island counters and backsplash lighten the space. The door styles, the materials,
the hardware, the plumbing fixtures, the light fixtures and the wall stone were chosen primarily for
their high-quality and for the desire of achieving an European look.
Very simple, the dining room will be the brightest room on the main floor and will mainly be used so
the couple’s daughters can settle down and play comfortably. The wooden floor detail installed in
chevron gives an European look to the room and allows to define the space. Two oversized lights,
some wooden beams on the cathedral ceiling and a discrete window trim complete the room.
The feminine family room is dedicated to the two charming little girls. A full storage wall has been
designed to hide all their games and toys. In the middle of the room, a small table, few ottomans
and an easy to maintain area rug will allow everyone to play comfortably.
Worthy of the European castles, the master ensuite bathroom on the 2 nd floor is not lacking in
personality with its checkered floor. The fake fireplace detail gives the look of an old renovated
building where we kept some original architectural elements.
Meanwhile, the girls bathroom has been designed in a feminine way with its old pink colour, the
different shades of gold and the materials softness. A lively room that will get through time.
