Les Grands Feux Casino Lac-Leamy is one of the most sensational and large-scale events in Canada’s Capital Region. Its mission is to showcase the pyrotechnic, digital and multimedia arts through a series of internationally renowned shows. For six unique evenings each summer, the event brings together visitors from around the world. The captivating programming, centered on the theme of Fire, inspires unity, diversity and creativity among organizers, participants and spectators.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Grands Feux, the organizers wanted to breathe new life into the brand image, while modernizing the communication tools. The objective was to create an image that was resolutely forward-looking, while preserving the heritage of the past. We worked to develop an image that would transcend the ephemeral nature of the anniversary and establish a lasting place in the collective imagination.

Our ambition was to forge a powerful and unforgettable brand identity that would appeal to an audience of all ages. We wanted to stand out by adopting a more graphic and visual style, integrating bright and shimmering illustrations. We wanted to echo the theme of fire, source of heat and light, by bringing a touch of brightness and luminosity to the logo. The goal was to create an image that would transcend time to become a truly timeless icon.

We’ve brought a new life into our client’s color palette. Each shade was assigned to a type of communication, giving each message a unique personality. We also simplified the brand elements, improving readability and quick visual recognition for customers.

We also redesigned the communication tools for the modernity of the event. Simple and effective designs were born, to clearly convey relevant information while elevating the overall brand aesthetic.

Overall, our artistic approach for the Grands Feux focuses on creating a cohesive and memorable visual experience that captures the essence of the event and engages audiences of all ages.
