In the heart of Montreal’s Ahuntsic neighborhood, the Godin Residence, a timeless bi-generational home, has undergone a meticulous transformation tailored to a mother and her daughter. From the kitchen to the curved credenza in the dining room, and extending to the storage spaces and the expanded entrance, every corner of this dwelling, including the lighting fixtures and furniture, has been custom-designed to reflect the unique personalities of its occupants.
In this renovation, premium woods such as walnut have been favored, imparting warmth and elegance to each space. The cabinetry, crafted with attention to detail and the aesthetic sensibilities of the mid-century era, exudes refinement while meeting the practical and functional needs of modern living.
From the complete bathroom overhaul to the personalized office space, every aspect of this home has been reconsidered to create a harmonious and inviting environment. This renovation exemplifies a successful marriage of the past and present, where bespoke craftsmanship intersects with contemporary design to forge a living space where history and comfort elegantly converge.
