This project is dedicated to a virtual art center and a contemporary art gallery, both parts of the cultural and artistic PHI ecosystem. Located in Old Montreal, it is part of two lots composed of three historic houses. The proposal is presented as a work of interrelation between the gallery, the center and heritage buildings. This, done through a particular reflection on the “in-between” as a conceptual vector of spatial interactions between these three universes. The framework is moreover totally malleable to the artistic production and to the visitor’s experience. This in order to establish an intimate encounter between contemporary art and the public. Sharing, inspiration and questioning thus bear the seeds of a sustainable reflection process.
