This project began with solid confidence emanating from customers with whom we had already worked. This magnificent home is a new construction in one of Quebec City’s most sought-after neighborhoods. This prime location gave us total freedom in the architectural design. It was essential to create a soft, warm environment for customers.
The concept was developed from a mixture of ideas that we developed in collaboration with the architect. The house was largely designed according to the orientation of the sun, to benefit from the maximum amount of light inside. This harmony between inside and outside is reflected in every detail, offering spacious, open areas that breathe lightness.
The major challenge was to optimize every room because, despite the size of the house, there were many needs. The judicious use of materials, from the entrance hall to the storeroom to the bedroom, creates a striking aesthetic continuity. We preserved the authenticity of the noble materials chosen, particularly the natural stones, drawing inspiration from them to develop the concept. The addition of several traditional elements such as molding on the walls, contrasting tile and metal accents add undeniable charm.
This home is at once aesthetically pleasing, refined and convivial.
