Inspired by the use of concrete in brutalism, this residence creatively exploits the verticality and structural properties of this material to rhythm and ground its various volumes, without any superfluous ornamentation. Yet the voids and glass provide a contrast to the harshness of these imposing facades for an overall effect of surprising lightness.
The space created between the two main modules gives rise to an inviting interior courtyard whose vegetation serves as a backdrop to the fully glazed entrance.
Very European, the interior design focuses on functionalism for a streamlined result in which space, light and natural materials remain the main players.
On the first floor, isolated from the rest of the development by a spectacular sculptural staircase and a footbridge, the intimate master suite will be able to enjoy a privileged view, like a nest overlooking the rest of the house.
