The Collectif Accessibilité Universelle (A.U.) is a collaborative project bringing together organizations to promote universal accessibility for people with visual, physical or intellectual disabilities.
The board of directors commissioned Studio Pink to create an identity that would come out of the clichés.
Designing their brand image was quite a challenge, because several constraints presented themselves to us:
– Create a representative logo with a professional, clean and trendy style;
– Represent the three axes described below;
– Use universally accessible lettering.
Using the initials of the name (CAU), we have illustrated a heart, symbolizing love, unity, mutual aid and support. By adding the three heads which also remind of braille, we have represented three people who each represent one of the three axes:
– Communications / visual impairments (profile of a person with a cane for the blind)
– Infrastructure / physical impairments (person with a walker)
– Services / intellectual disabilities (accompanied person)
We are extremely proud to be able to say that the client loved their logo the first time. It's a successful challenge!
