The Swing Collection
The SWING Collection is all about bringing our stress level down, whether in a general urban context or in a hostel, at work or on a playground, near the water or in a natural setting. Wherever you place a swing, it helps to suspend time for a moment, alone or together, to watch the children play or contemplate the landscape. The SWING Collection is furthermore a modular set, offering infinite combinations and possibilities.
Modularity to the Power of 10
The SWING Collection comes in a wide range of models to meet the various needs of the urban, private, and landscaped space. You can go from a single swing, a double-seater with table, or even a Chaise Longue Swing. This multitude of design and arrangement possibilities means the swings combine beautifully with our LITTLE HOUSES, PERGOLA, PLANTER BOXES or simply with the arches to hang the swings to create spaces that are fully customizable to your needs and tastes, put together as if they were LEGO blocks. Landscape architects choose the swing set that best suits the environment and desired experience.
The SWING Collection is designed with local materials. The bench structure is aluminum while the covering is of recycled plastic boards, post-consumer.
Safety First
Our swings are designed to be safe. In fact, we maximize user safety with a retaining cable of galvanized steel sheathed in PVC. All models have a limited swing range, preventing injury through contact with structures. The cables are more rigid than chain link, bolstering the swing’s stability of movement. The table in the double swing was also designed to provide sufficient clearance, and is equipped with a grip armrest to make it easier to get on and off the bench easily and safely.
The Chaise Longue model was designed with the same thought process, with a footrest that heightens user safety and comfort. For example, the clearance between the bench and footrest is designed to prevent slipping off the seat. Once seated, the user can keep one foot on the rest and the other on the floor to control the swing, or simply make a slight head movement with both feet on the rest to set the swing in motion. The central armrest (in addition to providing added comfort while seated) improves user stability while getting on and off.
Small details, but they make a huge difference. That’s the Morelli design vision, along with ensuring that all the products we develop are eco-friendly and sustainable. And safe. And fun!
