The love of adventure!
Connecting with nature through biophilic design is a creative way to harness this attraction and create a natural environment where it is pleasant to be around and work.
The design of Club Voyages Abitibi, has been carefully realized to harmonize all spaces and optimize the organization between workstations. First, a "central cube" regrouping all the employees' workstations. By moving away from the standard office layout, this arrangement makes the space more dynamic and optimizes employee/client interaction. The reception desk located at the entrance allows for direct contact with customers who are welcomed in a relaxing paradise atmosphere. Behind the reception desk, the "central cube" dedicated to the workstations is divided into two sections: 3 front desks for the agents, including the middle one dedicated to management assistance. The front of this central layout is made of glass for a light flow that circulates from front to back thanks to the abundance of natural light. Inside, a glass wall with a door separates the assistant's office from the executive's to optimize communication. The manager is located in the rear section and enjoys a spacious area for increased productivity in complete tranquility. The manager has an open view of the rear space, an almost 360 degree view, which connects him to all the spaces allowing him to interact as needed. On the periphery, the customer experience invites you to discover and be inspired! The circulation areas on either side of the central zone stimulate the desire to live an adventure. On one side, a vegetated air that creates a rejuvenating link with nature and on the other side, an "art gallery" of breathtaking photographs and an inspiring library of publications. The stimulus of travel can be quickly compromised by excessive visuals that create mental overload, so the "art gallery" was meant to be inspiring, inviting and relaxing! At the back of the "central cubicle" area, two small travel booths are available to finish the customer meeting and sign the travel contract. They stand out from the wall like small floating islands to live the complete experience and project yourself into another universe!
The owner-manager, a committed businessman, has taken care to bring together his two businesses under the same roof in order to amalgamate the Club Voyage and the clothing boutique to extend the travel experience to a higher level and combine the ultimate with the pleasurable! These two environments merge to offer customers bathing suits, travel bags and all the necessities following the purchase of the trip!
On the employability side, management's current challenges being retention, presenteeism and talent acquisition, the design of the project had to meet the main objective of creating a flexible and modular interconnection space. This allows employees from the Travel Club and the clothing store to work closely together and rely on each other to promote greater productivity.
The project is currently underway and the grand opening is expected within 8 months. The entire staff is excited about this new proposal in a relaxing and wellness environment!
