Located on Boul. Curé-Labelle in Laval, the private medical clinic Leblanc & Savaria welcomes you in a fresh and refined decor. The use of blond wood color, white and a few touches of sage green, whether on furniture or in greenery, allows patients to feel a sense of fullness and well-being.
Being positioned between two businesses, the consulting offices are windowless, the challenge was to design bright and refreshing spaces; With this in mind, skylights have been added in the consulting offices. Two types of atmosphere have been designed alternately to offer a different decor to patients. The application of floor finishes, murals and the choice of furniture color vary from office to office.
The installation of the herringbone flooring is arranged in gradient from blond wood to pale wood and draws the eye to the consultation corridor. Behind the reception, vertical metal slats painted white create a relief to integrate lighting and eucalyptus, thus reminding the wall plantings of the waiting room. The corner layout of the reception station alludes to the layout of the floor and allows better clearance for the reception of patients.
To minimize unwanted noise, suspended acoustic panels were installed in the ceiling lifts and office signage was perforated in dark grey felt panels.
Knowing that having to present oneself in a medical environment is never pleasant, the goal was to create a soothing and comforting environment so that everyone could meet for a moment.
