GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 15th edition

Discipline : Student

Categories : Students work / Student - Industrial Design / Product / Furniture

Canopée is an acoustic lighting system that was designed to improve ambient lighting in indoor spaces, while providing a balance between both artificial and natural light exposure. With its occupancy and daylight sensors, it offers three lighting modes that adjust according to the location and time of the day, which help to reduce energy consumption in buildings.

The ceiling light includes felt tiles, a soundproof material that reduces ambient noise. It is suspended on t-grid bars and hanger wires, which provides easy access to the junction box and makes the ceiling installation more convenient.

Subtle, organic and uniform, Canopée is not only an alternative to troffer that are usually used in institutional and commercial spaces, but also a lighting system that provides lighting quality with minimal consumption of resources.
