Project guiding idea: The clients wanted to exploit the singular topography of the terrain. The layout of the pool and surrounding spaces was strategically realized on several levels. The idea of raising the sun lounger area above the pool, and then extending onto another level for the lounge area under the pergola, enabled the harmonious integration of the terrain’s relief. While taking into account guests’privacy, rows of hemlocks were planted along the fence to furnish the backyard and mask the surrounding buildings.
