Audrey Hepburn stopped in front of Tiffany’s window with breakfast and became a classic scene in the film history. She looked forward to seeing not only the luxurious and glittering jewelry and diamonds, but also the noble and decent lifestyle hidden behind her through the glass.
The wonderful life displayed to the world in the window also conveys beautiful values. Display, sculpture modeling… combined into the core form of window display.”From passing the shop window to becoming a shop window”, the Blue City Chunfengli Sales and Exhibition Center created by Louis Liou revealed confidence and boldness in the deconstruction and restructuring, and carried out the wonderful art modernism to the end.
1. Light & Shadow
The millennials, who are immersed in the network world, have diversified expressions of the real world, and the leap of thinking makes them more persistent in pursuing more possibilities.
The geometric shape of the reception desk combined with neat lines constructs an artistic window box, and constructs the spiritual imagination of space.
The art installation standing at the beginning seems to be the most exquisite gem in the shop window, a giant wing composed of acrylic feathers, metal skeleton and neon light belt, which is like a streamer track walking in space.
2. Formative
Walking into the contact area is like a streamer track walking in space, with some mysteries, which will eventually belong to the vast stars.The corresponding shop windows deconstruct the huge space into different dreams, and combine different display patterns with LED art screens, display platforms, interactive devices, etc., breaking through the physical limitations and making imagination wander in different spatial corners.
Designers try to use a dynamic visual experience to trigger people to rethink space and life. The immersive experience scenes attribute this kind of thinking to reality, and the design also returns to the original in the flowing space.This authenticity is also seen in the city carpet in the VIP room. The Dawn Light series, independently developed by the designer, interweaves the exploration of the universe and the starry sky with the fusion of color transition and geometric figures.
3.Intermediate
Space narrative is the self declaration of designers, who regard all decorations as the transmission of ideas. Space time capsule is Liu Ronglu’s space concept, while artistic installation is the medium of communication.
In a space where art and technology meet, we can find the traces of time travel in surprise. The old style TV, old speakers and retro cameras are displayed in the space with the sense of age, which seems to remind people that memory is not sealed, and all new life is a continuation of time.
With these details as the focus, we gradually move away to the dense forest outside the window, and then re-examine the whole building. It is more like a huge shop window, where multiple narratives of time travel and urban change are staged.Together with the characters, devices, lights and patterns in the building, they have become shining treasures in the shop window, full of warmth and beauty, constructing the imagination of future life, and also metaphor the expression of self emotion.
