Medusa Jewelry specializes in luxury and extravagance by offering ostentatious jewelry. The target clientele wears these jewels as emblems of success, and the store is in accordance with this language.
The gold color on the wall, on the furniture and on the twisted bands, inspired by Rolex bracelet chain links, sets the tone of the boutique. The glossy black floor and ceiling reflect and magnify the brilliance of the jewelry on display. The red, found in the display case, adds richness and depth to the ensemble. This opulence of textures and finishes results in a maximalist decor that proudly defies current trends.
On the flip side of this lavish decor is a major issue: security. The entire project was designed to protect expensive jewelry. To do so, multiple twisted golden metal strips were placed along the windows to prevent burglaries and avoid the store being broken into by cars. The entrance is formed by a double door, the second one, bulletproof, is entirely electronically controlled to allow the management of the entrance and exit of the customers. Once inside the store, the central counter provides a global view. To ensure this constant vigilance, the walls of the office are made of one-way glass, a window coating that allows you to see without being seen, well known for its use in police interrogation rooms. An anti-theft vault was also concealed behind a large gold door so that jewelry could be safely stored when the store closed.
In urban culture, you have to make a statement to exist, and Medusa Jewelry shines at the very top.
