ARC’TERYX’s retail stores advocate a better shopping experience for customers by using of brand-related outdoor natural elements in space design.
The facade grille outlines the shape of the mountains, and the collision of the black metal grille with the natural stone reflects the brand characteristics of ARC’TERYX, as well as the combination of the outdoors and the city. Window showcase become more focused under cracks and rocks, making them a great window for brands to showcase their products.
The installation, made of bamboo, a local material in Chengdu, acts as a spatial link starting from the staircase, connecting the first and second floor Spaces. The application of “bamboo” elements is also reflected in the fitting room and the ceiling of the store on the second floor. The wall of the VEILANCE area is outlined by metal perforated panels, and the shadow of bamboo echoes with the real bamboo, which is also a harmonious presentation of nature and the city.
