Chagall doesn’t just create spaces. Our expertise extends to bringing to life a company’s brand image in its environment.
A daring challenge: sublimating a brand’s essence
When the renowned European company, Ange, approached us to set up operations in the Canadian market, we understood the challenge: to create a space that captures the very essence of the brand while adapting to the expectations and codes of the new context.
Our holistic approach enabled us to design a space where every detail tells a story. Inspired by Ange’s heritage and Canadian market trends, we developed a unique concept combining tradition and modernity.
Sustainable materials
The choice of materials was crucial to creating an ambience that was both warm and refined. Methyl methacrylate, a floor covering that is both resistant and aesthetically pleasing, dresses the kitchen laboratory, while ceramic wall tiles ensure hygiene and durability. Touches of wood and metal bring an elegant modernity to the ensemble.
A layout designed with the customer in mind
The bakery’s layout has been designed to maximize the customer’experience while meeting operational requirements. A fluid sequence of functional zones emerges, each space defined by distinctive architectural elements.
Lighting highlights products and creates an immersive atmosphere. Furnishings specially designed for the presentation of viennoiseries and pastries invite discovery.
This is the perfect setting for a new challenge.
A technical challenge turned into an opportunity
The presence of large windows presented a challenge. In response, suspended architectural spinoffs were created to add volumetry to the space, provide a signature element and integrate lighting in an elegant and functional way.
In addition, a halo-shaped architectural element was added to recall the bakery’s brand image.
Stimulating purchases and optimizing the experience
Innovative merchandising techniques have been implemented to encourage impulse purchases and highlight the products’visual appeal.
Despite budget constraints, Chagall’s integrated approach created an exceptional environment. The internalization of the design and production process optimized resources and guaranteed a high level of quality and innovation.
At the same time, Chagall’s integrated approach made it possible to create an exceptional environment.
Since 2018, our collaboration with Ange has resulted in 8 completed projects, 3 in progress and several to come.
