She travels the fields and the beaches to capture the flight of white geese. Then, she lets her body of photographs inspire her and chooses one of them as a starting point for creation. She listens carefully to the photograph and imagines the possible. In the creation presented, the source was taken on the shore of St-Vallier. The artist, eager to let the wisdom of the river and its ancestral scenery speak for itself, has chosen less explosive colors, with a calmer approach. In the colors of ancient jewelry, the St. Lawrence River and its geese become a commemoration to nature, which is bigger and stronger than us. This one-of-a-kind piece, printed on brushed metal with matte and iridescent properties, adds a mystery reminiscent of the stories and legends of the first inhabitants and travelers who saw the spectacle and majesty of the St. Lawrence River long before us. Just like the geese that return each year, she names her pièces with the date and time of their completion.
