Montréal en Lumière Comes to Hotel Monville!
The restaurant at Hôtel Monville, Le Monème, will host three international chefs for exceptional evenings as part of Montréal en Lumière 2026, in its gastronomic program.
February 20–21, 2026: Caribbean Flavors with Chef Vladimir Francois Maïkoouva

As Executive Chef at Ginger, Vladimir FRANÇOIS-MAÏKOOUVA embodies Franco-Caribbean gastronomy inspired by his Martinican roots and French expertise. With 23 years of experience, he has worked in prestigious establishments alongside renowned chefs. As an ambassador for the Martinique Tourism Committee, he promotes a fusion cuisine that is creative and identity-driven, blending tradition and modernity to share his art and passion.
March 6–7, 2026: Michelin-Starred Evenings with Chefs Alexis Voisenet and Irwin Durand
On March 6 and 7, 2026, we will welcome two Michelin-starred French chefs, Alexis Voisenet and Irwin Durand, for a unique five-course menu combining their culinary styles and inspirations for $130. |
Former right-hand to Guy Savoy, Alexis Voisenet opened Maison Avoise in late 2024 in the historic fort of Issy-les-Moulineaux. There, he celebrates classic French cuisine in a contemporary setting. He has already earned a Michelin star and the title of Jeune Talent Île-de-France from Gault & Millau.
Irwin Durand, a 34-year-old French chef trained by Guy Savoy at Hôtel de la Monnaie, rose through the ranks to lead Le Chiberta, a Michelin-starred restaurant, in 2020. He reinvents French classics with creativity and seasonal products. Passionate about his craft, he recently opened his own establishment in Paris.
