The A49 / DFS / STGM consortium was given the mandate to design and rebuild the Voltigeurs de Québec Armoury, following the latter’s re in 2008.

The building having retained most of its architectural integrity, thus as the character-defining elements that led to its designation as a national historic site of Canada, the reconstruction of the Armoury was aimed at rehabilitating it as a multifunctional building. The consortium is therefore committed to preserving, stabilizing and ensuring the sustainability of all these important moments of the Armoury, in a coherent and dynamic whole that enhances the cultural value of the place for future generations.
