The Quebec Association of Landscape Architects (AAPQ) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Frederick Todd Awards, presented on October 10 during its annual conference. As the province’s professional association representing landscape architects, the AAPQ promotes the field of landscape architecture, advocates for the profession, and encourages innovative and sustainable practices in outdoor space design. Established in 1995, the Frederick Todd Award is the AAPQ’s highest honor, recognizing individuals—whether members or public figures—who have significantly advanced landscape architecture through their projects, publications, teaching, or advocacy. This prestigious award, which celebrates values integral to Quebec’s landscape heritage, honors Frederick Gage Todd (1876–1948), a trailblazer of the profession in Canada and Quebec’s first resident landscape architect.
