ROYALMOUNT Reinvents Summer in the City: A Season of Art, Wellness, and Celebration
Montreal, July 8, 2025 – A true cultural oasis in the heart of the city, ROYALMOUNT is launching its very first summer programming. With 77,000 square feet of open-air space, over 20 terraces, and a lineup of free artistic, musical, wellness, and family-friendly activities, it’s quickly becoming one of Montreal’s most vibrant summer destinations.
The Art of Living, Differently
Guided by the theme The Art of Living, Differently, ROYALMOUNT’s summer series invites visitors to experience the new district through immersive events. From day to night, the site buzzes with creative energy—open-air galleries, live music, and hands-on family activities.
Outdoor Art & Urban Discovery
ROYALMOUNT transforms its public art collection into a living exhibition route. Curated by MASSIVart, visitors can join thematic guided tours:
- Little Feet, Big Artists (July 19): A child-focused tour featuring interactive artworks.
- Coffee Break & Discovery (July 26): Urban art exploration with a curated espresso stop.
- Art + Apéro (August 2): An early evening stroll followed by happy hour—because every masterpiece deserves to be toasted.

Local Sounds & Festive Atmosphere
Every Friday and Saturday, the Urban Park turns into an outdoor lounge. Highlights include:
- Croissound at ROYALMOUNT (July 12): A signature morning dance party featuring local DJs, fresh croissants, and artisanal coffee.
- BYOF with FORREST (July 26): Bring Your Own Float (no water needed!) and dance to the upbeat set of renowned Montreal DJ FORREST.
- MURAL x ROYALMOUNT (August 15–Sept 7): Immersive installations, live music, and a vibrant Block Party to celebrate ROYALMOUNT’s first anniversary.
Movement and Wellness Under the Sun
Throughout July, yoga, Pilates, and sound bath sessions unfold with the rhythm of the seasons:
- Elegance in Motion (July 13): A yoga session designed to ground, balance, and restore.
- Strength & Flow (July 20): An energizing floor Pilates experience in the heart of the Urban Park, where movement meets art and nature in a one-of-a-kind workout.
- Unwind at Rennaï (July 27): A guided Pilates and sound bath session designed to awaken, align, and deeply relax.

Family Creativity
Every Sunday is designed with families in mind:
- Outdoor Art Workshops for Kids (July 13, 27 & August 10)
- Ice Cream Day (July 20): Celebrate with a limited-edition flavor by CA LEM and a patch-personalization workshop.
- Build Your Wishing Bear (August 3): A creative experience inspired by ROYALMOUNT’s iconic public artwork.
Taste of Summer… on the Terrace
Between activities, visitors are invited to slow down and savor the moment on one of ROYALMOUNT’s many terraces:
Balam, Momiji by Otto, Tommy Café, Olive & Gourmando, Milestones Grill + Bar, Belle et la Bœuf, Sammi Soup & Dumpling, Le Rec Room, and the 12 gourmet partners of Le Foufou. And don’t miss CA LEM, serving signature ice cream at its seasonal pop-up kiosk.
With this free and open-to-all programming, ROYALMOUNT is redefining the urban summer experience in Montreal—through creativity, connection, and wonder.
