Ximena DIAZ

Architect and Designer with 16 years’ experience. Ximena is a graduate of the School of Architecture of the University of the Americas-Puebla; holds a master’s degree in Interior Design from the ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering in Spain. She also holds a degree in Foreign Design from the Polytechnic of Milan, a diploma in Retail Design from the CENTRO University in Mexico City, and Art Studies from the Lorenzo dei Medici School in Florence, Italy.

She currently lives in Mexico City, but has collaborated on projects both national and abroad in collaboration with international firms. She is also a part-time professor at The Anahuac-Norte University in Mexico City, teaching Architectural Projects, Interior Design and Drawing. In 2012 she created A ESTUDIO, her own design and architecture firm, where they are dedicated to design solutions, including Architectural Design, Interior Design and Furniture Design, with experience in Residential projects, Mixed Uses, Corporate, Hospitality, Retail and Education.

As a designer, Ximena knows that the power and influence design has on our daily lives is undeniable; with it we can generate a real positive change in an entire environment, style and quality of life through the smallest details. For Ximena, designing is letting creativity take over the heart and express itself through the way we live our lives; It consists in giving soul to the details, but above all, impregnating the soul of the people in them in order to allow the design to become physical and emotional well-being. For her, designing is understanding the self and giving answers to capture its essence. Designing is nurturing the soul day by day.
