Architect | Believer in Purposeful Design | Community-First Thinker
I am an architect who believes that design begins with intention. In 2023, I founded THINK Architecture with a simple but powerful idea: that thoughtful architecture can elevate the way we live, work, and connect. For me, it’s never just about form-making; it’s about responding to people, place, and purpose.
My work is rooted in the belief that buildings should do more than function - they should quietly enrich everyday experience, promote wellness, and tread lightly on the planet. I’m especially drawn to the intersection of sustainability, urban living, and human-centered design, and I try to bring that lens into every project I touch.
Before starting my own practice, I spent over a decade working in large firms and development companies, which gave me a valuable perspective from both the architect’s and the developer’s side of the table. It shaped how I now navigate design - not just as an aesthetic exercise, but as a process of listening, problem-solving, and stewardship.
I am also a Co-Founder and the Executive Director of SOSA Canada (Society of South Asian Architects), a platform born out of the belief that people thrive when they feel seen - when they’re empowered by a sense of belonging, cultural identity, and representation in the spaces they aspire to occupy. Through mentorship, storytelling, and community events, SOSA Canada creates space for designers and architects, especially newcomers and emerging professionals, to connect, grow, and define success on their own terms. I see community not as an afterthought, but as the very reason we design.
As a jury member, I look for ideas that are honest, thoughtful, and courageous - projects that don’t just follow trends but move the conversation forward.
