Martin LIU

As a jury member of this international design competition, Martin Liu brings extensive expertise in global design, cultural entrepreneurship, and higher education consultancy. He holds a master's degree in Graphic Design from the University for the Creative Arts, UK, and later pursued a master's in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths, University of London. His academic journey ignited a passion for fostering creative industries and supporting innovation-driven start-ups.
Since 2019, he has served as the Secretary General of the China Europe International Design Culture Association (CEIDA) in Antwerp, Belgium. In this role, he is dedicated to building an international platform that connects designers, artists, and cultural professionals worldwide. His mission is to promote the global exchange of art and design, showcase Chinese creativity on the international stage, and provide career development opportunities for outstanding designers and artists in China.
Beyond his contributions to international design forums, exhibitions, workshops, and lectures, he also serves as a European higher education consultant, offering professional guidance to artists and designers seeking further studies in Europe. His expertise helps emerging talents navigate academic and professional pathways, ensuring they maximize their potential in the global creative landscape.
With a profound commitment to cultural exchange, education, and artistic innovation, he continues to bridge Eastern and Western design cultures, making him a valuable and insightful judge for this competition.
