Martin LANDRY
As an architect, Martin has over 30 years of experience in project management, consulting, planning and design.
His expertise has taken him to the four corners of the globe, from the heart of multiple airport design competitions in China (Shanghai Pudond, Chongquin and Kunming) to leading some of the world’s most prestigious airport design and planning projects in London, Frankfurt, New York, Sao Paolo, Dubai, Doha, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Toronto and Montreal.
Martin’s impressive track record makes him a strong ally. As such, renowned architectural firms such as Roger, Grimshaw, Gensler, SOM and HOK have not hesitated to enlist his services to assist them in crucial mandates, knowing that with Martin, no project is delivered without his ultimate seal of quality.
A founding member of the Arup office in 2013, he was – at the time – the proud pillar of a small team of three. As a senior principal, he has seen the ranks grow to nearly 100 multidisciplinary experts, all driven by Martin’s contagious drive. Today, as the leader in architecture in the Americas, he continues to work at Arup alongside a myriad of seasoned built environment professionals, all as passionate as he is. Martin and his talented leaders have been instrumental in establishing the firm as an industry leader and in making its projects world-class. Together, they have contributed to the realization of legendary, innovative and sustainable works, including the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge (Montreal), the rehabilitation of the Sagrada Familia (Barcelona) and the design of the future Changi Airport terminal (Singapore), to name a few.
Surrounding himself with the best allies, focusing on quality, sharing his knowledge, honoring his profession, carrying out his projects with integrity, embodying humanitarian values while respecting others and communities and with a desire for sustainable development: these are Martin Landry’s credos.
