Originally from France, born in Japan, and having arrived in Canada in 2014, Louise Mazauric holds a dual Master's degree in architecture from Université Laval in Quebec. Following this, she began her career at Provencher_Roy in Montreal, where she worked from 2018 to 2024. Due to her previous role managing the office’s material library for 5 years, Louise is recognized in the industry for her knowledge of the latest technological and manufacturing developments in inclusive and sustainable design, as well as her interest in interior design.
Driven to contribute to the Canada of tomorrow, Louise joined the federal project planning team for Eastern Canada at BGIS in 2024, with a particular focus on sustainability and accessibility. Alongside her professional journey, she is actively involved in the real estate and construction sector, including volunteering for Devis Construction Canada (DCC) and occasionally serving as a master of ceremonies and moderator at recent Batimatech, Bâtiment Durable Québec, and ImmoHEC conferences. She has also been a member of the CREW M organization for over two years, promoting the recognition of women in the industry. In 2024, her dedication was internationally acknowledged by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), which awarded her the prestigious "Ones to Watch Award 2024" in the "Volunteer Leadership" category. More recently, Louise was chosen as a judge for the "Innovation Awards 2024" by Interior Designers of Canada (IDC), recognizing the most innovative manufactured products in the country.
Determined to share her early experience and inspire the next generation, Louise regularly speaks at architecture and design universities.
