Keith ZAWISTOWSKI

onSITE is an architecture and construction workshop. The name onSITE was born from the idea that every enduring, timeless, and meaningful architectural work emerges from an intimate understanding of its culture and territory. By working within the context of our projects, designing and building - often with our own hands - onSITE strives to create architecture that is economically, environmentally, and culturally sensitive.
onSITE is a critical practice, intentionally small, that accepts very few projects. Being onSITE means investing the time and energy necessary to immerse ourselves in the culture in which we work. Being onSITE means sharing the experience of designing with the people for whom and with whom we build. Being onSITE means actively participating in the realization of projects. Being onSITE means resisting the global and the virtual in favor of the local and the real.
