Ingrid ABRAMOVITCH

Ingrid Abramovitch is an award-winning design and lifestyle journalist and author on design and architecture. She is the Executive Editor at ELLE Décor where she oversees a team of editors and writers covering the latest news and features on architecture, interior design, culture, style and travel. Born in Montreal and now based in New York, she has a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University, has worked as a wire service reporter, and held senior editorial positions at House Beautiful, Veranda, House & Garden, Martha Stewart Living. She was a senior editor at Artisan Books and is the author of several books on design including Restoring a House in the City: A Guide to Renovating Town Houses, Brownstones and Row Houses with Great Style (2009).
